Thank you for supporting the Tanzania Diaspora Youth Association (TDYA). As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations and support from individuals and institutions to fund our programs and activities.
Donations
All donations made to TDYA are final and non-refundable. We use your generous contributions to support our advocacy, youth development projects, and organizational goals. If a donation was made in error or if there are extenuating circumstances, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction.
Event Fees or Program Payments
If TDYA hosts an event or workshop with an associated fee, refunds may be issued if:
- A written cancellation request is received at least 5 business days before the event.
- The event is canceled or rescheduled by TDYA.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the event date unless otherwise noted in the event details.
Membership Fees
If applicable, TDYA membership fees are considered contributions that support our mission. Membership fees are non-refundable, except in the case of duplicate transactions or technical errors.
Merchandise
If TDYA offers merchandise or promotional items for sale, refund and return terms will be included in the product description. Generally, items can be returned within 15 days if they are defective or incorrect. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
Changes to This Policy
TDYA reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
